How we work

Published once. True while it stands. Updated only with a visible changelog note.

AI news has an honesty problem: most "AI-written news sites" publish raw model output at scale and call it journalism. We do the opposite of that. Here is our entire pipeline, in order, nothing hidden.

AI Express is a free AI news brief published three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) in English, Romanian and German, plus daily Telegram digests. Every story names its source with a link. The pipeline below produces each edition.

  1. Collection. Every day the system scans twelve named sources: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Hugging Face, MarkTechPost, TechCrunch, MIT Technology Review, arXiv cs.AI, The Guardian, APITube, Currents and DeepMind's research blog. Each story keeps its source URL, visible on every article.
  2. Deduplication. The same event reported by five outlets is one story, not five. We match by normalized URL, text fingerprint and semantic similarity against everything already published.
  3. Machine drafting + machine skepticism. One language model rewrites each selected story using ONLY facts from its source. A second, independent model then attacks the draft: every claim is checked against the source text, numbers are compared character by character. Anything below our faithfulness threshold is deleted before a human ever sees it.
  4. The human gate. A human editor receives every surviving draft with its score and its original source link. Nothing publishes without an explicit human approval. This step cannot be skipped - not by deadline, not by volume, not ever.
  5. Publication. Approved stories go live on this site, to our Telegram channel and into the newsletter. Rejected drafts are archived, never silently edited after publication.

What we refuse to do

Why we tell you all this

Because trust is the product. If a story on this site is wrong, the process above tells you exactly where it failed - collection, drafting, verification or judgment. That accountability structure is the difference between a curated brief and a content farm. You can hold us to it.
